The Wild Olive is situated in the centre of the Lake District village of Gosforth, at the foot of the Wasdale valley – approximately ten minutes drive from both Wasdale and Eskdale, providing an excellent base for those wanting to enjoy the fells.
We reserve the parking immediately outside the restaurant for those with particular mobility needs but the large village car park is just around the corner and is free to park in.
From the north: Travel south down the A595 until you see a left turn signposted to Gosforth. Take this turn, go down the hill into the village and you will see The Wild Olive on the right before the mini-roundabout. (If you are parking in the village car park, turn left at the roundabout and the car park is first on your left).
